Parenting the cosmos.

On my journey to learn more about myself and the people that I chose to keep company of; studying zodiacs made everything start to make perfect sense.

This knowledge unlocked a lot for me. To be brutality honest, it helped me to stop wasting a lot of my time on people.

Ouch, huh….

Before we start, I want to add emphasis on the fact that there are both evolved and un-evolved zodiac traits in all of us. You shouldn’t automatically write people off without giving them the chance to tell their story and watch their actions.

I am a Libra. If you’re new to this zodiac thing this means that in my lesser than evolved state, I’m a door mat that constantly weighs every decision for the greater good. I’m a “people-pleaser” that has a hard time saying “NO” because of my over analytical mind actually seeing the darkness in life and not wanting to add to it. I lost a great deal of myself over the years being too afraid of not bringing light into everyone’s life.

Niave.

Here’s where it gets fun….when these people are all the lesser than evolved type, have big emotions with little bodies and are made by you and/or your partner and ghosting them isn’t an option.

The universe has blessed me with a Capricorn, Scorpio, 2 Pisces, Cancer and a Leo on the way. One earth sign, 4 waters and a fire sign.

My Capricorn baby was by far the easiest. She was quite-natured, always up for adventure and smiling the whole way. We have now reached teen-itory and entered grumpy waters. Although, she is my most helpful of the bunch for sure.

I didn’t get the chance to be involved in the early stages of our Scorpio and one of the Pisces. I entered their lives at 7 and 6. From that point forward our Scorpio has definitely been our problem child. She’s intelligent at knowing who to manipulate to ensure she always gets her way and theatrics to go along with it have been plenty. She has a power complex for sure which is unsettling to my Libra nature. If you are family reading this and find yourself with hurt feelings, I dare you to tell me I’m wrong.

Our Pisces are the same. They don’t care much for labor intensive anything and are very similar to goldfish sucking rocks off the bottom of the fish tank. Being the water signs that they are, they are rather emotional little men. They will forget where they are going 3 times before they ever make it there. You almost have to record directions on a tape player and put it on repeat if you want anything to get done. Simple tasks make my life easier as I spend more time telling them which direction to walk in than if I would have just burdened to task myself.

Then we have our little Miss Crab. She is a mama’s girl all the way. Everything is the end of the world. We are both in a constant state of confusion; She never knows what she wants and neither do I. She can completely melt your heart and then make you want to rip your hair out in the same second. She is by far my hardest baby. I often wonder if we are even in the same reality at times. Out of all my children, my daily mantra with her is to enjoy her and things for what they are today because this is the last day she will ever be this small. I have to literally make myself cry at the thought to reset my brain because she makes me feel like someone turned my brain into over-cooked microwave scrambled eggs.

I am currently acting as a portal for a Leo. My first fire baby. I am slightly nervous as my husband is a fire sign. I’ve heard tales of tempers galore from his mother and a lot of other blogs I’ve read have mentioned the same.

If you find yourself wondering who the alien of a child you are living with is, I would highly recommend looking up and studying not only their signs and attributes but also yourself. Everyone needs to do shadow work and there is no better way to start in my opinion, than starting a journey inward.
